Men’s Program Director

The Beauséjour Gymnos Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit organization located in Moncton, New Brunswick – one of Canada’s top rated places to live!  The club offers a wide variety of recreational programs with an average of 600 participants registered in the fall, winter, and spring sessions as well as a continuously growing competitive program with membership of approximately 100 participants per year. 

Beauséjour Gymnos Gymnastics offers competitive salaries; a friendly environment; and the opportunity for professional development and career growth.  We are currently looking for a creative and highly motivated team player to join our coaching staff as Men’s Program Director. 

The successful candidate will work primarily with our men’s competitive team however some time will be allocated to mentoring and strengthening our recreational boys program.  Main duties will include (but may not be limited to):

• Planning, developing and implementing a yearly planfor all coaches and athletes

• Planning, developing and implementing daily training sessions

• Leading, directing and mentoringa team of men’s coaches and junior coaches

• Observing, analyzing and evaluating athletes

• Preparing and motivating athletes for provincial and national meets

• Participating in coaching clinics and instruction as necessary

   

  This position is full time; 35 - 40 hours per week and candidates must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends, days and evenings.   

   

  Qualifications and Expectations:

• NCCP Level 2 certification or higher or equivalent; NCCP Level 3 preferred
• National and/or high performance experience is valuable
• Minimum 5 years’ coaching experience
• Valid First Aid certification
• Making Ethical Decisions and Respect in Sport certificates
• Police Record Check will be required
• Effective organizational skills, strong communication skills and superior leadership abilities are a must

Salary will commensurate with qualifications, skills, and proven experience.  Group benefit plan options are available.
