Gymnastics Coach

The Gymnastics Coach provides coaching to all participants of the competitive gymnastics program, ages 5 – 18.

As a Gymnastics Coach you will:

• Have the ability to coach all levels of the Gymnastics competitive team.  
• Provide leadership and enthusiasm for gymnastics to all team members. 
• Remain actively engaged with the gymnasts.  
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe gymnastics facility. Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper working order and report any areas that may require maintenance or repair. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 21 years old and bring to this position a background of education and/or experience in gymnastics. 
• Have an understanding of the programs offered by the Gymnastics Department and the general membership. 
• Have a varied level of experience in coaching gymnastics, and for some positions have full knowledge of all USAG rules and policies for levels 2-9.
• Have CPR, First Aid, and for some positions have USA Gymnastics Course 101, USAG Safety Certifications and be a Professional member in good standing with USA-Gymnastics. Can work toward certification for other positions not required at time of hire.
• Build good relationships with the participants and families.
