Good news for gymnastics programs in Ankeny, Iowa. Per the Des Moines Register, Ankeny’s population has grown from 45,582 in 2010 to over 60,000 in 2017. This means more students for gymnastics programs and therefore bigger profits for gymnastics clubs.

The Rio Olympics has inspired some Eastern Iowa kids to try gymnastics, says the owner of a gymnastics club in Waterloo, per KWWL.
This increased enrollment may mean gymnastics clubs in Waterloo will be looking to hire more gymnastics coaches.

According to the Gazette, Cedar Rapids is the fifth best city in the nation for millennials to get rich; moreover, Cedar Rapids has a great unemployment rate for millennials: roughly 3 out of every 1000 millennials living in Cedar Rapids, IA are out of work.

Per the Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa’s metro area is growing faster than any other urban area in Iowa, growing 9.4% since 2010.
As a result, gyms in Des Moines may need more gymnastics coaches due to an increase in enrollment.
