According to the Savannah Morning News, Savannah’s unemployment rate was 4.5% in May, which was down from 4.7% in April and down even more from May of last year, when the unemployment rate was at 5.8%.

The Atlanta Regional Commission is predicting that the Atlanta metro area will grow by 2.5 million people by 2040, according to WSBTV. The growth in Atlanta is due to the strong economy and the expected 1.5 million more jobs in the area.
According to the Times Free Press, metro Chattanooga has grown by 3.7% over the past five years. Per the article, people are moving to Chattanooga, TN due to the jobs in the area.
