Gymnastics Head Coach (Summer)

Camp Echo Lake is currently looking for an Adventure Trip Leader to join their 2018 summer team. If you are looking for an opportunity to build experience in programing, trip leading, staff management, coaching, and child development, then do not hesitate to reach out about these opportunities. The positions start early-mid June and end on August 13th, travel will be partially covered as part of compensation, and room, board and recreational activities will be provided for the summer. If you have experience in leading trips (Hiking, White Water Rafting, Mountain Biking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Caving, etc.) and are looking for a fun, energizing job this summer, then you should consider applying.

As an Ideal Candidate, you possess the following skills and competencies:

• Formal experience coaching/instructing children or adults;
• Experience working with children between the ages 7-16;
• Experience working and collaborating with your peers;
• Familiarity with lesson planning and setting achievable goals for participants;
• A genuine interest in working with children;
• A positive and resilient attitude;
• The ability to receive and deliver constructive feedback; and
• The desire and capacity to have a fun, active summer in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York.

Located in the beautiful Adirondack Region of New York, Echo Lake is a full season (7-weeks) co-ed sleepaway camp that hold true to their passionate dedication to human development. The Camp season runs from June 11 to August 13 and includes 1-2 weeks of Staff Orientation/Training depending on the position.
